MISSING PERSON – NRPS in St. Catharines Searching for 14-Year-Old Female

Officers from the 1 District – St. Catharines/Thorold office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Isabella Cooper.

Isabella was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 20, 2025, on foot in the downtown area of St. Catharines. She is known to frequent the area near the bus terminal on Carlisle Street.

Isabella is described as:

• Indigenous female, 14 years old
• Medium build
• Approximately 5’0” tall
• Brown hair

MISSING PERSON – NRPS in Welland are Searching for a 13-Year-Old Male

Officers from the 3 District – Welland/Pelham office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person John “Blake” Holoday.

John has been missing since May 8, 2025. He was briefly seen by his family on May 11, 2025, in Welland, and last communicated with them on May 18, 2025. However, he has not returned home. John was reported missing to the NRPS on May 19, 2025.

NRPS Conduct R.I.D.E. In Port Colborne and Fort Erie – May 16, 2025

On Friday, May 16, 2025, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks in the City of Port Colborne and the Town of Fort Erie.

Over the course of the evening, officers stopped approximately 300 vehicles and asked drivers whether they had consumed alcohol and/or drugs prior to driving. In total, 11 drivers were required to provide a breath sample for analysis using an Approved Screening Device.

Investigation Following Welland Shooting – Update 2 – ARREST

Detectives from 3 District (Welland/Pelham) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) have continued to investigate a shooting that occurred on May 9, 2025, in Welland. As a result of the investigation, Shaun Krawiec, 28, of Bradford, Ontario, was identified as the suspect.

Krawiec was wanted for the following Criminal Code offences:

• Aggravated assault
• Discharging a firearm with intent to wound, endanger life or prevent arrest
• Pointing a firearm (2 counts)
