ADVISORY - K9 Graduation

On Thursday July 16, 2020 the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) will welcome two new members to its K9 Unit, Police Service Dogs "Atlas" and "Ranger".

The NRPS will be hosting a virtual graduation ceremony at 10:00 a.m. for the new recruits along with their handlers Constable Dan Campbell and Constable Robert Viger.

NRPS Conduct R.I.D.E. Check in the City of Port Colborne

On Friday, July 10th, 2020 the Niagara Regional Police conducted a R.I.D.E. checkpoint in the area of Quarry Road and Pleasant Beach Road in the City of Port Colborne.

Between the hours of 5 pm and 11 pm, officers stopped approximately 100 vehicles and conducted 5 roadside tests.

Due to the increased public presence at the Quarry and Pleasant Beach the Niagara Regional Police will have an increased presence with extra officers working in general patrol, as well as RIDE spot checks.
