Break & Enter - Update: Firearms Stolen During Residential Break and Enter in Fort Erie

UPDATE:
 
On January 27, 2018, twenty nine year old Andrew Windsor from Welland was arrested for an unrelated matter.  Windsor was subsequently charged with Breaking and Entering to Steal Firearms and Breaking and Entering to Commit Theft.  Windsor was held for a bail hearing.
 
Police are still attempting to recover the stolen firearms.  Anyone with information can contact the #5 District Detective Office at 905-688-4111 ext 2327.

On January 19, 2018 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm a residential break and enter occurred in the area of Netherby Rd and Pt. Abino Rd, Fort Erie.  A number of items including several firearms were stolen during the break and enter.
 
Detectives from the #5 District Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the incident.  Anyone with information can contact Detective Dan Sandel at 905-688-411 ext 2322.
