Drugs - Breach of Condition Investigation Results in Drug Seizure

On April 13th, 2018, members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit observed two known individuals who were violating their court imposed Recognizance of Bail conditions. These conditions stemmed from a drug investigation in to them from February 20, 2018.
 
At approximately 3:25 p.m., Police arrested the pair without incident.
 
During their arrest Police located a quantity of fentanyl powder and Canadian currency on the one male.
 
Arrested and charged were the following persons:
Robert SIMPSON a 35 year old resident of St.Catharines.
-Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
-Possession of Proceeds of Crime under $5000
-Failing to Comply with his Recognizance x 3
 
Kassandra FULLERTON a 22 year old resident of St.Catharines
-Failing to comply with recognizance
 
As a result of this investigation Police seized $2190 worth of Fentanyl powder and $535 in Canadian Currency.
 
All parties were held in custody pending bail hearings.
