Robbery - Niagara Falls Sandwich Shop Robbed

On Monday January 22, 2018, uniform officers from the 2 District - Niagara Falls office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a Subway sandwich shop for a report of a robbery.

At approximately 8:50PM a lone male entered the Subway located in the area of Victoria Avenue and Jepson Street in Niagara Falls.  The male was armed with a hammer.
The unmasked male then proceeded to steal the cash register drawer and flee on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Detectives from the 2 District Criminal Investigation Branch have been able to obtain still images of the suspect.  The suspect is described as the following:

- White, mid 50s
- English speaking
- Approximately 5'10ft
- Slender build, approximately 160lbs
- Clean shaven
- Balding grey hair
- Black and blue winter coat
- Blue jeans
- Black and white running shoes

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111 ext. 9407.  Anonymous information that may result in cash reward can be provided to Crime Stoppers of Niagara.
