Robbery - Robbery North End Niagara Falls Residence

Further investigation by the Niagara Regional Police Service 2 District Detective Office has resulted in charges being laid against Dudley STEAD-CHAISSON of Thorold, Ontario.
 
23 year old Dudley STEAD-CHAISSON of Thorold is facing the alleged charges of:
 
Conspiracy to Commit the Indictable Offence of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Robbery
Possession of Restricted Firearm without being the Holder of License to Possess X 2
Possession of a Firearm Knowing the Serial Number had been Tampered with X 2
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle X 2
Careless Storage of a Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
Possession of a Prohibited Firearm Knowingly not Holding a License
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device X 2
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon X 2
 
STEAD-CHAISSON  is in custody pending a bail hearing on February 16th at the John Sopinka Courthouse in the City of Hamilton.  Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

On February 8, 2019 at approximately 11:45 pm two males forced their way into a north end Niagara Falls residence. The males were in possession of two long guns. They demanded money and valuables from the home owners then quickly fled the residence.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident. 
Police located and arrested the involved males. Both long guns were safely recovered by Police. 
The accused, Jonathan SEWELL, 27 years of age, from Oakville was charged with Break And Enter With Intent, Possession of Prohibited Firearm Without Holding A Valid Licence, Pointing Firearm, Robbery, Disguised With Intent, Possession Of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition and Possession Of Firearm Knowing Serial Number Has Been Tampered With.
The accused, Stephen ATHERLEY, 28 years of age, from Toronto was charged with Break And Enter With Intent, Possession Of Prohibited Firearm Without Holding A Valid Licence, Pointing A Firearm, Robbery, Disguised With Intent, Possession Of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition, Possession Of Firearm Knowing Serial Number Has Been Tampered With, Possession of Firearm Contrary To Prohibition Order, Fail To Comply With Probation Order and Fail To Comply With Recognizance.
Both SEWELL and ATHERLEY were taken to the Niagara Regional Police Central Cells and held pending a bail    hearing.
